Bucket is distributed through the App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These notes sit alongside it.
Bucket is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It records what you tell it and what you allow it to read, and shows you patterns in your own data as things to look into. It does not diagnose, treat, or tell you what to do. Decisions about your health belong with you and the clinicians who know you. If you are unwell, seek medical help.
Your data
Your logs are yours. They live on your devices and in your own iCloud; how they are handled is set out in the privacy policy. You can export or delete everything at any time from inside the app.
Subscriptions
Some features will be offered by subscription through the App Store. Prices, terms, free trials and how to cancel are shown in the app and managed through your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple handles all payment.
Fair use of smart parsing
Smart parsing carries a daily allowance sized for personal diary use. It is metered to keep the service sustainable, and may be paused for an account that is plainly not using it as a diary.
Availability
Everything that matters — logging, your bucket, your history and your patterns — works with no signal and without our server. Smart parsing and local conditions depend on connectivity and on third-party services, and may be unavailable from time to time.
